End of Year Party

From 11:55 am on 21 June, you are invited to join other DSKI families and staff for a buffet style lunch. Each class will be responsible for bringing food to share. Grade 3 is responsible for a main dish. Please make sure you provide enough food for 4 - 5 people. If you are bringing more guests, kindly provide an extra portion for them. Your child can bring the food to school in the morning and hand it over in the hallway to the PTA members who will be in attendance. Alternatively, parents can bring the food with them before the start of the program. Please bring a picnic mat to sit on in the outside area too.

Some of these supplies you may already have at home, most of them are easily available from Daiso or Lawson. Please try to make certain you have all of these supplies over the next two weeks. *Me and Ms. J have a stock of LED lights at school - if you do not have one at home and aren't able to purchase a single unit please let us know and you can come and collect one from school or we will send you one in the post. Learning from home in our virtual classroom

Dear Grade 3 families, We are now completing our first full week of learning online. It has been challenging and exciting and (I think) at times a little confusing. I really, really appreciate all your support as we adjust to our current circumstances. I wanted to say how proud I am of Grade 3 learners. They have shown themselves to be independent and Thinkers. I have seen some truly impressive and insightful work being shared over the past week. I am also impressed at how well and how quickly learners have developed the technology skills required to communicate and succeed in a virtual classroom. Stay stay, stay happy and health. I hope to see everyone again soon.
